Calibu Power Plant

        With 27.5MW of installed capacity, the power plant uses diesel and bunker as its fuel to power up and supply reliable electricity for almost four decades. Known for its quick ramp-up rate, Calibu Power Plant is also an embedded generator connected to Angeles Electric Corporation (AEC) to which it also provides its services as a peaking power supplier. 

            The plant has 5 engines namely Survivor, Pioneer, Traveler, Provider, and Floater, which have approximately 6MW capacity for each engine. In 2021, the operations were upgraded and optimized by a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) with a monitoring and control system architecture that delivers high-level management of the engines.
